The Hillcrest PAC plays a vital role in fostering a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and the school administration. We are a dedicated group of parent volunteers committed to supporting our school's goals, enhancing the educational experience for our children, and making Hillcrest a wonderful place to learn and grow. We believe that active parental involvement enriches the educational journey and benefits our children immensely.

Thank You, Hillcrest Community!

Thanks to our amazing Hillcrest community, we raised just over $12,000 throughout the 2025–2026 school year! These funds came from Hot Lunches, the Halloween Howl, our Donation Drive, Movie Night, Spirit Wear sales, Principal for a Day, and other PAC fundraising initiatives.

More importantly, here's how those funds were used to support our school and students:

Over $11,000 was directed back to the school, including $400 for every classroom to purchase additional supplies, resources, and classroom amenities.
$4,802 helped fund field trips and transportation, ensuring students could enjoy valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom.
$3,000 went toward new sports equipment, chess sets, bean bag chairs, and other items identified by both students and staff as priorities.
$1,141 provided complimentary hot lunches for students and families who needed additional support.

As you can see, we invested more than we raised this year. PAC fundraising doesn't always balance perfectly year to year—some years we build reserves, while in others we draw on those reserves to meet current needs. This year's spending reflects our commitment to providing meaningful support for students today.

These numbers also highlight just how important fundraising is to our school. Every event, donation, volunteer hour, and purchase makes a real difference. With increased parent participation and support, we can continue to offer these programs, fund new opportunities, and do even more for our students and staff in the years ahead.
