SY 2023-2024 NHS Members

"The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921." - nhs.us

To be considered for NHS membership, applicants must have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher from the previous year. Qualified applicants will be invited to apply. They will need to demonstrate leadership experience, community service and extracurricular activities.

Invitations for membership are sent via email once per year during August. All qualifying 10th - 12th graders are welcome to apply.

Members of NHS at Hillcrest are dedicated to helping those around us and promoting the general welfare of our community by giving back.

To support our efforts, we accept donations (NHS is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization) that can be made in the main office. Thank you so much!
