Greetings Hill Central Family,
The 2022-2023 school year has gotten off to a wonderful start! I am so proud of all of our staff and students. I’d like to share a few important pieces of information with parents including the school’s website, an introduction of the leadership team, and important dates.
Hill Central’s website can be found at https://sites.google.com/view/hill-central-school. Please bookmark this page and visit it regularly. We will post updates throughout the school year to minimize paper and to keep you posted on upcoming events and other, relevant information. Our librarian, Ms. Buynak did an outstanding job building the website!
In order to create a well functioning school, the building is run by several staff members. Each has a specific role in leading the work to support our students.
Mrs. Brown, Principal
Ms. Jaca, Assistant Principal
Ms. Chapman, PPT chair
Ms. Cunningham, Outreach Coordinator
Ms. Gomes, Multilingual/ESL leader
Mr. Hernandez, Climate Leader/Title IX Coordinator
Mr. Youngman, Building Designee
In addition, we have two instructional coaches.
Mrs. Delbasso, Literacy Coach
Mrs. Hick, Math Coach
IMPORTANT DATES:
Monday, 9/5 - Labor Day, No School
Friday, 9/9 - Spirit Day: Wear Red, White and Blue
Tuesday, 9/13 - No School, In service day for staff
Wednesday,9/21 - Open House 4:00PM - 6:00PM

As a single, working parent, I know how difficult it was to get back into the groove of the school year; getting the clothes ready, getting the homework done, getting the kids to bed earlier, all of that. So I applaud you, stand with you and appreciate you! Please feel free to reach out to your child’s teachers and to the leadership team if we can support you in any way. Have a safe and restful weekend.
Warm Regards,
Mrs.Brown, Principal
