Since my family moved to the Methow seven years ago, I have pursued my passions for education and service. Teaching in senior seminar classes, leading the 4-H club, and working with teachers through PSFA have shown me the strengths and needs of our schools and families. We have successes to celebrate and challenges to address.

I have spent 25 years in education, working as a middle and high school English teacher, administrator, and education program manager.
My experience in public schools, private school, education non-profts, and one-year of homeschooling gives me multiple perspectives and the abiltly to think creatively about education.

My first priority is my family. Being a parent of two teenagers, one entering junior year at LBHS and one starting at Colorado State University, is one of my greatest joys. In spare moments, you can find me on a trail with friends, in my garden, or maintaining my Duolingo German streak.
