Hello Sisters,
I’ve been pondering the importance of having the Spirit of the Holy Ghost in our daily lives lately and would like to share some thoughts with you.
One of the greatest blessings Heavenly Father offers us is the companionship of the Holy Ghost. In a world filled with confusion, noise, and competing voices, the Holy Ghost can provide personal guidance, comfort, and direction tailored to our individual needs.
The Holy Ghost often speaks quietly through feelings, impressions, and promptings. As we pray, study the scriptures, keep our covenants, and strive to follow Jesus Christ, we become more able to recognize His influence. He can warn us of danger, help us make important decisions, bring peace during trials, and testify of truth. That is why it is so important for us to make sure we include the things in our daily lives that can bring us His influence and guidance.
This world is getting louder and louder with more confusion and distractions available to us each day. President Russell M. Nelson has taught that “In the days ahead, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost.” As we seek that influence daily, we can move forward with greater confidence, knowing that Heavenly Father is aware of us and willing to lead us one step at a time.
Scripture: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
I know that the The Holy Ghost is a gift that can help us find our way back to Christ and experience greater peace and joy along our journey in this life.
With Love,
