2026 CC Run Sign-Up Meeting - Wed, May 20 at 3:05 in room 3303 (high school). This meeting is for both high school and middle school runners. The meeting will run for about 20 minutes. Read through the links below if you hope to run in the fall.

Team Summer Workout Dates (all abilities)
Tuesday Monument Runs - 6 pm East River Road and Summit Ave. Lasts about 90 min (June 15 start date)
Thursday Workouts - 6 pm at the track Jun 18, June 25, July 2, July 16, July 23, July 30. Lasts about 90 min

Summer T-shirt Awards: If you are tracking to earn a summer t-shirt, email brad.moening@spps.org by August 1. Specify award earned: mileage (include distance), Pushups, or Parker Valby. Also specify the unisex t-shirt size.
Runners and Skiers - Summer T-Shirt Awards - you have up to three options
Complete the 5000 Push Up Challenge
Earn a summer mileage award. To be eligible to receive this award the runner must submit your summer training log the first week of practice and complete 50% of your mileage by July 15.
High School Boys - 400 miles
High School Girls - 300 miles
Incoming 9th graders - 240 miles
Middle School (going into 7th or 8th grade) - 200 miles

The first three weeks of practice are mostly at 7:00 am, with a couple of exceptions. 3:20 once school starts.

Pack Running - by Quinn (for the Varsity Boy)
Running Doubles: this isn't for everyone. Why do it? It will flush out your legs to promote recovery. If you ran an age appropriate number of miles this summer and want to try running doubles - talk to your coach. General guidelines: keep the second run short - 20 to 30 minutes. Get on soft surfaces. 9th graders - 1 to 2 per week. 10th/11th - 2 to 3. Seniors 3 to 4.
