By downloading, installing, or using HideYourPhotos ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Overview
HideYourPhotos is a personal media vault application for iPhone that allows you to securely store photos and videos behind passcode and biometric authentication. The App is developed and maintained by an independent developer ("we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. App Features
The App provides the following features:

• Photo & Video Vault: Import photos and videos from your device's photo library into a private, passcode-protected vault.

• Album Organization: Create, rename, and manage photo and video albums.

• Passcode Protection: Secure the App with a 4-digit passcode.

• Biometric Authentication: Optionally enable Face ID or Touch ID for faster access.

• Secret Code: Optionally set a secret code to reveal hidden albums through the search bar.

• Apple ID Linking: Optionally link your Apple ID for passcode recovery purposes.

• Multi-Language Support: Available in English, Arabic, Spanish, German, and French.

4. Data Storage & Privacy

4.1 Local Storage

All your media (photos, videos, and thumbnails) is stored locally on your device within the App's sandboxed storage. Your data is not uploaded to any external server or cloud service. Your passcode and secret code are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device only and are not backed up to iCloud.

4.2 No Data Collection

The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data or media files. No analytics, tracking, or advertising services are integrated into the App.

4.3 Sign in with Apple

If you choose to link your Apple ID for passcode recovery, only an anonymous Apple identifier is stored locally on your device. We do not request or receive your email address, name, or any other personal information from Apple.

4.4 Photo Library Access

The App requests access to your photo library solely to allow you to import photos and videos into the vault. The App uses the iOS system picker, which provides access only to the media you explicitly select.

5. Security

The App uses iOS standard data protection for files stored within the App's sandboxed directory. Your passcode and authentication credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain with device-only protection (not synced across devices or backed up to iCloud). While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no security method is completely infallible.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Remembering your passcode and secret code. If you lose your passcode and have not linked your Apple ID, there is no way to recover access to your vault.

• The content you store in the App. You must have the legal right to possess any media you import.

• Maintaining the security of your device. If your device is compromised, the security of the App may also be affected.

• Backing up your data. Since all media is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the App or losing your device will result in permanent loss of your stored media.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Store any content that is illegal under applicable laws.

• Store content that exploits minors in any way.

• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security features of the App.

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.

8. Account Deletion

The App provides an option to delete your account, which permanently removes all stored media files, metadata, authentication credentials, and preferences from your device. This action is irreversible.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is the intellectual property of the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of vulnerabilities. We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from device failure, App updates, or uninstallation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of privacy, or inability to access stored content.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws provisions.
