This procedure however requires the principal to physically be in the same physical location as the notary public. Additional fees may apply.
Remote Testimony Witness - To have notary physically present with a witness to verify your identity, administer the oath or affirmation when the court sets up a conference call to take witness testimony by telephone. Mississippi law allows notaries to charge $5 per notarial act, including administering the oath or affirmation. In addition, an hourly rate and travel fee will be charged.
