Born in Khartoum (at the confluence of the White and Blue Niles), I grew up surrounded by the vibrant culture and the rich history of Sudan. Throughout my education journey and travels to different parts of the world, I have been inspired by other cultures and developed a passion for genomics research focused on the representation of  Africans to help improve our understanding of genetic variation and health disparities. I'm excited to share my knowledge and experiences with the world.
