One of the easiest, most effective ways you or your company can support the PTO is by checking if your employer provides the option to give at work.
Employer Matching Gifts
Many employers will match charitable contributions made by their employees, and some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. It’s an easy way to have the impact of your gift doubled or possibly tripled!
Volunteer Grants and PTO
Don't forget to ask if they allow employees to volunteer their time with local charities. Some companies offer paid time off to staff when they volunteer with an organization in their community, or will match volunteer hours with a monetary donation (a volunteer grant program)
