I am from a family that is made up of successful entrepreneurs and innovators. In 1972 Bulawayo, Rhodesia, my grandparents sold their respective firms. My grandmother had a small pharmacy chain and my grandfather owed three boat dealerships, along with this, they cashed in all their savings. All this, to buy purchase 12 fuel stations in cash.
By 1973 they had successfully upset the entire fuel industry in the city. Soon they were approached by the Total Petroleum refining company and Mobil Oil industry company, to buy the property off them but they did not want to sell. Instead they want to grant 5 year leases over and over again. Their big idea was to retain the properties forever and gain regular incomes from the properties.
When I was 14 I started to handle the day and night books for the stations they managed. I was home schooled until late primary school and my family taught me basic accounting and business management. Most evenings I would cash up the slips to the money banked and check if the numbers would add up.
Between 2016 and 2018, I worked exclusively for Moban Enterprises. I've worked as their multiple operations supervisor. I was a middle manager, so I often served as a conduit between the management of production and top management. I ensured that all top-level management targets were achieved in both years. I worked closely with their accounting sector while at Moban Enterprises and I would continue to work full-time at Moban Enterprises during my final year.
