Lincoln-Douglas
A 1-on-1 debate that's all about philosophy, morals, and ethics. Instead of just arguing facts, you use a "value" (like justice or freedom) to prove why your side of the argument is morally right.
Dates: July 6th–10th
Online: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Open to: 6th–12th grade

Speech
Impromptu is a spontaneous style speech, where competitors are given 2 minutes and a prompt to deliver a 5 minute speech!
Oratory is a 10-minute solo speech event that you write yourself. Your goal is to persuade the audience to care about a major societal problem and give a solution.
Info is where you're just trying to teach the audience about a cool, unique topic — and you get to use visual aid boards.
Dates: July 20th–24th
Online: 2:15pm – 3:15pm
Open to: 6th to 12th grade
