What is Grad Night?
Grad Night is an all-night event created to promote a safe, supervised, alcohol—and drug-free evening for graduating seniors. Through fundraising, sponsorships, donations and the work of parent volunteers, Grad Night provides a place to celebrate the students' achievements and enjoy a fun event with their friends and classmates while keeping them safe.
When is it?
It will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, through early morning Friday, June 5. After the graduation ceremony concludes, the students will have a limited amount of time to take photos with family and friends before changing out of their robes and into casual clothes. They will then check in at the Grad Night station on campus, board the buses, and OFF THEY GO!!!
Do you need volunteers?
Yes - sign up here - Volunteer
Is it a dance?
No. While there is a DJ and the students may dance, it’s a fun-filled night with all-night food, beverages, activities, games, and other entertainment. There will also be quiet activities for those who wish to be less active or take a break from all the fun.
How much does it cost?
The price of admission includes site rental cost, charter buses, food & beverage, activities, prizes, and entertainment for the several hours they are at the party.
$150: Now - December 19, 2025
$175: December 20, 2025 - February 28, 2026
$200: March 1, 2026 - April 30, 2026
$255: May 1, 2026 - June 2, 2026 (Based on availability. Check with committee before purchasing)
Do they have to dress up?
The party is very casual. Graduates may wear whatever is comfortable and allows movement to participate in various activities. Closed-toe shoes are required. NOTE: There may be some activities that require pants or leggings. Please plan accordingly.
Can parents attend Grad Night or take pictures?
This is an event for the students to celebrate graduation as a class. Only parents who volunteer to work at the event are allowed to attend. If you would like to volunteeer at the venue, please get in touch with GNP Team at gnp@ptsahomestead.org.
Do graduates really like the party?
Absolutely! Year after year, students who attend Grad Night rave about how much fun it was and this year promises to deliver more of the same! For the past few years, most seniors have attended. The goal every year is 100% participation.
Why is the location kept secret? Will Parents know the site in advance?
It is kept secret for two reasons: One is to keep the students guessing about the location, which adds to the adventure, and the other is to ensure that there is no contraband or gate crashing. Only a few parents will know the site. Committee members and volunteers will be informed on a need-to-know basis. Close to the event day, waivers will be sent for parents to sign and the location will be disclosed then.
Do graduates need to bring money?
No, the admission price includes everything for every person for the entire night!
Why does the PTSA request donations?
The PTSA raises funds for Grad Night because the initial discounted price is lower than the per-student cost, and the PTSA provides scholarships for those who would find the admission price a hardship. Please consider donating directly to this important event.
Donations can be made here.
What if my family can’t afford the admission fee?
Discounted tickets are available through the Grad Night Committee. You can request a full or partial discount by emailing gnp@ptsahomestead.org. There will be verification with the school before discounted tickets are issued.
Will my graduate be allowed to leave the party early?
Yes, but early departures MUST be arranged with the GNP Chair prior to the party, and the graduate must be picked up by a parent or guardian with an ID. NO on-site departures will be allowed. Please email gnp@ptsahomestead.org if you would like to arrange early departure.
Do parents have to pick graduates up from HHS?
Transportation is provided to and from the event site. Each student will need transportation home from HHS after Grad Night, at approximately 2:30AM. Students may leave a car in the HHS parking lot.
