HG&B Grooming Policy

Services Included in All Grooms

Every grooming session includes:

• Haircut, De-shed, or Trim (as needed), Bath, Nail Trim and/or Filing, Ear Cleaning, Gland Expression (if required), Smell Good Scents

Size Categories

Pricing is based on the following dog size categories:

• Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large

Special Policies

Outdoor, Farm, & Livestock Guardian Dogs

• Always welcome!

• Higher pricing applies due to increased labor, product use, and equipment wear.

Doodles Over 30 lbs

• Required to be groomed at least every 6 weeks.

• Grooming less frequent than every 6 weeks will incur an additional fee.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

To ensure HG&B can continue providing quality services, we have implemented the following policies:

• Cancellations within 48 hours of an appointment or arriving late without prior notification:

  • A $30 fee will be added to your next appointment.

• First No-Show (without notification):

  • A $40 fee must be paid before scheduling your next appointment.

• Second No-Show:

  • A full-price charge for the missed appointment must be paid before scheduling the next appointment.

  • All subsequent appointments will require full payment at booking, and payments are nonrefundable.

Flea Policy at Huckabee's Groom & Board

Huckabee's Groom & Board maintains a flea-free environment. 

Consult your veterinarian about flea prevention before your dog’s appointment. 

Fleas must be treated by a veterinarian.

 If fleas are found during grooming, a $30 fee applies. 

After three occurrences in a year, you must provide veterinary documentation of flea treatment or a medical exemption. 

Your cooperation keeps our facility safe and clean.

Grooming Price Guide

Pricing applies to dogs on a consistent, recurring schedule of 4–6 weeks. Dogs that are booked sporadically or as one-offs are subject to an additional fee .

Small Dog Groom $65.00

1lb to 20lb dogs 

Medium Dog Groom $75.00 

21lb to 38lb dogs 

Large Dog Groom $85.00

39-75lb dogs. 

Starting Price, price will be determined by coat condition, coat length, dog's attitude, and how long the groom takes due to all of those factors. Please ask for a quote when dropping off if you want something other than what the groomer has in mind. 

Extra Large Dog Groom       $125.00 

76lbs + dogs.

 Starting Price, price will be determined by coat condition, coat length, dog's attitude, and how long the groom takes due to all of those factors. Please ask for a quote when dropping off if you want something other than what the groomer has in mind. 

Only Nails Trim $15.00 

Nail Trims come with every groom. This service is for dogs who need only a nail trim

DayCare $20.00 *if dog needs to stay till after work there will be a daycare fee 

* Fleas are among the most challenging pests to eradicate once they have infested an indoor environment. Consequently, if the flea treatment fee is charged three times within a year, you will be required to submit documentation from a licensed veterinarian verifying that your pet has received flea treatment or is unable to receive such treatment due to medical reasons. Dog’s staying in the boarding kennel MUST be current on a monthly prevention plan or wear a Seresto Collar! 

Required Vaccinations 

Huckabee's Groom & Board is a state-licensed boarding facility with a Veterinary Care Contract with MO Cat & Cow Veterinary Clinic in Koshkonong, MO. 

To ensure the safety and health of all dogs, we require proof of the following vaccinations from your veterinarian prior to scheduling an appointment:

• Rabies

• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

• Parvo (DHLPP)

• Distemper

• Hepatitis

• Parainfluenza

Vaccinations must be administered at least one week before your dog’s appointment. 

Non-Missouri residents must also provide a Health Certificate from a veterinarian in their state of residence.
