DeltaMath account pointers

How do I register students?

Students must create their own accounts by going to DeltaMath.com, clicking "Create Account" then typing in your teacher code: 908407. Students will make a username (email) and password, type their first and last name and select their section from a dropdown menu. You can edit your section names by going to TOOLS then MANAGE CLASSES AND STUDENTS. Make sure you create at least one assignment before students register, otherwise they will have nothing to work on.

What if a student already has an account?

The student should sign into their old account, go to TOOLS then go to MANAGE LOGIN AND TEACHERS. Then they can add your teacher code and select their correct section.

What if a student forgot their password?

There are several ways a student's password can be reset:

  • If the student registered on DeltaMath with an email, after one failed login, a "forgot password" link appears. Students should check their junk box for the reset link. If the student email account doesn't accept outside emails, then use a different method:

  • If the student is currently on your roster, the teacher can reset the student's password by going to TOOLS then MANAGE CLASSES AND STUDENTS then clicking EDIT next to the student's name. A "change password" button appears. It is recommended that the teacher copy and paste the students email and attempt logging in for themselves. If the teacher can log in then the student should be able to.

  • If the student is not currently on your roster, they can use a different email address or a previous teacher can go to TOOLS then PAST TERMS, search for that student and change their password.

  • If none of those options work, email support@deltamath.com with the student usernames that need to be reset.

Desmos

The link to Desmos activities is always provided for you, please sign in using your PhilaSD account so your progress is saved and recorded.

You can also download Desmos for your phone. It's a great graphing calculator, and they also have a scientific calculator app. If you go to desmos.com/calculator you can use the online calculator, too.

Savvas and MathXL

The best way to access Savvas is directly through Google Classroom. When Mr. Hayes posts an assignment, it will show up here and you can click to get directly to it!
