Lauren staged my listing at 12 Seagull Drive, Richmond, California, and she did a phenomenal job.  She’s always prompt on answering my clients’ e-mail inquiries, always on time on meetings, and was very patient, detail-oriented, and professional.  People who came by my open house, a mixture of real estate agents and prospective buyers, were very impressed on how Lauren staged the home, and one of them said “very good use of space, simple and homey, and was not over done,”  as a few of them mentioned that other stagers tend to put so much furniture / accessories.  12 Seagull got an offer in 5 days and sold $20,000 more than asking.

"When the world says give up, hope whispers: try it one more time." This lesson I learned from Lauren. She is a true inspiration and gives me hope for humanity. Lofty words, I know. But this comes from watching Lauren donate her time and design skills for a charitable cause called [Rooms of Hope], a non-profit that brings a little magic into the lives of terminally ill children. She designed a beautiful children's bedroom, complete with a whimsical forest and colorful butterflies, for a young girl named Ashley. The design was clever, beautiful and perfectly captured the feelings of love and joy a child experiences when seeing such places in books and movies. Sadly, Ashley succumbed to her illness and never got to see her room. But in Lauren's own words, we are all "comforted in the fact that her family and her little sister have a room to cherish that will always remind them of Ashley." I can only hope that Lauren will continue with her design and bring more joy to the world. 

I had the privilege of working with Lauren, a volunteer interior designer, who transformed my daughter's bedroom into a dream haven. My daughter, who has a terminal heart condition, needed a space that could bring her comfort and joy, and Lauren went above and beyond to create just that.

From the very beginning, Lauren was empathetic, attentive, and genuinely invested in understanding my daughter's likes and needs. The designer took the time to listen to our story and incorporated every little detail to make the room special. The transformation was nothing short of magical.

The new bedroom is vibrant and filled with elements that reflect my daughter’s personality and dreams. The color scheme, the choice of furniture, and the personalized touches all come together to create a serene and cheerful environment. The space is not only beautiful but also functional, with plenty of storage and comfortable seating areas for her to enjoy.

What truly stood out was the thoughtfulness and love that went into every aspect of the design. The joy and excitement on my daughter's face when she saw her new room were priceless and something we will cherish forever.

Lauren's dedication and passion for helping others shine through in her work. This bedroom has become a sanctuary for my daughter, a place where she feels happy and safe.
