User Agreement

Effective Date: March 27, 2025

Welcome to Hey Hooman, a product of Moceo Ventures LLC, doing business as "Hey Hooman." This User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of the Hey Hooman mobile application and related services (“Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hey Hooman. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian’s permission.

2. Your Account

To use certain features, you must create an account via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Use of Services

Hey Hooman allows users to:

• Add and manage pet profiles and reminders.

• Receive personalized, AI-generated messages “from” pets.

• Enable push notifications for reminders and messages.

• Store and manage user and pet data in a secure environment.
  
  

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement.

4. Data Collection and Use

We collect and store user and pet data in Firebase Cloud Firestore, including:

• Email, userID, petID, reminder metadata, message history.

• Push notification tokens for FCM delivery.

• Usage statistics and error logs for performance monitoring.

• ChatGPT prompts and outputs via OpenAI’s API.

5. AI-Generated Content

Hey Hooman uses the OpenAI API to generate personalized pet messages. While we strive for quality, you acknowledge that:

• Messages may be fictional, playful, and occasionally imperfect.

• AI-generated messages should not be used as a substitute for medical, behavioral, or emergency advice for your pet.

6. Communications

By enabling push notifications or providing an email address, you agree to receive reminders, alerts, and promotional communications. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

7. Subscription and Payments

Hey Hooman offers both free and premium subscription plans. If you subscribe:

• You agree to the pricing, billing cycle, and trial terms displayed in-app.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled prior to renewal.
  
  

Affiliate links (e.g., “Buy [Pet Name] a Gift”) may earn us a commission through programs like Amazon Associates.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violating this Agreement or our policies. You may delete your account by contacting support.

9. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and content—including pet messages, UI designs, and reminder features—are the property of Hey Hooman and/or its licensors.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hey Hooman shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement at any time. We will notify users through the app or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the revised terms.
