can somebody recommend a good Linux text editor for Windows (if it exists), I wrote scripts for C-Shell using txt editor of windows but I have problem, it doesn't run because windows is not UNIX, what can I do? I don't want to install linux for a few scripts, I do testing of my scripts via unix server (this server is not mine), thanks in advance, also I treed dos2unix command, also doesn't work

Anyone know how to run the babylon editor in linux ubuntu or linux mint.

when you download the editor the linux file, it is not a .deb or an application to install with the software center. It is only a file with several folders, but there is no explanation of how to make it work in linux ubuntu or derivatives.Captura de pantalla_2020-01-13_12-33-561292720 60.5 KB

I have experienced an issue with my install of CCS9.1.0.00010_linux-x64. When I try to edit code the editor window glitches and is unusable (screenshot below). I have now also installed CCS8.3.1.00004_linux-x64 and I do not have the same problem with the editor window.

The system I'm trying to install them on is a Raspberry Pi 3 model B Its about a 50 Euro computer meant to teach kids computer programming and other things. It's faster than a pc on the 90's and can run doom 3 windowed at about 10 fps and can run minecraft (with a low render distance ofc). The version of the editors is the latest and i believe that its based on the Debian version of linux.

Java is installed by default on the RPi these days.

The installer however is a compiled ELF32, so it will not run on the raspberry Pi. Simple to fix by installing on a different x86 machine running linux, (Requires a 32 bit version of glibc, so libc6-i386 on Ubuntu for instance is the package you will need) and then zipping/tarring up the folder structure and moving it to the RPi user in the same place. After unzipping/untarring it the shell script should work fine to launch the software. ff782bc1db
