Hi folx! I am Hermie Monterde (she/her). I completed my PhD math at the Department of Mathematics, University of Manitoba under the supervision of Dr. Steve Kirkland and Dr. Sarah Plosker. I am now a PIMS-Simons postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Regina.
My research interests lie in the intersection of linear algebra, combinatorics, and quantum information theory, particularly the applications of algebraic graph theory and combinatorial matrix analysis to quantum information processing. My primary interest is continuous quantum walks. Other interests include graph spectra, graphs with well-structured eigenbases, combinatorical matrices, matrix decomposition problems, and inverse eigenvalue problem for graphs. You will find more here.
For more information, here is my CV as of April 2025.
