I am passionate about Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). In particular, I am a fervent advocate for the (labor) rights and welfare of (international) graduate students, increasing graduate student stipends, gender equity, SOGIESC advocacy in  STEM and migrant justice. This page summarizes my (i) engagements as a speaker and panelist in several equity events and conferences with EDI programming, (ii) involvement in equity seeking groups and EDI committees in the regional, national and international level, and (iii) work in EDI and community organizing.

In the Graduate Mathematics Society, we provide support to math graduate students via academic and social events. In  the Women in Combinatorics, we foster a supportive research community for women and historically underrepresented groups. We organized the first Women in Combinatorics Virtual Conference last July 2024.  I am also one of the organizers of the first Queer in Computational Applied Mathematics Workshop last June 2024 at ICERM (as well as the second one in BIRS-UBCO in June 2026), the first conference dedicated to celebrating the work of queer mathematicians in applied and computational mathematics.  Moreover, I co-organize the  05C50 Online, an online international seminar with 700+ subscribers across the globe.  Outside math, I am an organizer at Migrante Manitoba, a community organization that advocates for the rights and welfare of migrant workers.
