On five consecutive days, teachers and students from partner schools took part in a series of activities and workshops carried out in English.

Aftewards they visited the Poble Espanyol, the Spanish village in Barcelona, an open-air museum with buildings and crafts from all regions of Spain.
DAY 2 : On Tuesday 28th March 2023 the official launch of the program was held by the Director of the Spanish school, followed by a tour of the school grounds by students and teachers. During the tour, the Greek students were given the opportunity to enter the classrooms of the cooperating school and attend part of the lessons in English. Afterwards, the Greek students made presentations about the history, culture and civilization of Greece. Also, our students presented to our Spanish partners the history of our school as well as the cultural monument adoption program (Ikarion Attica) implemented by the school on the archaeological site of the municipality of Dionysos where the school is located. Finally, the group was warmly welcomed at the town hall of the city of Girona, where the education representative of the municipality spoke to the students about the historical importance of the building as well as the way of conducting municipal meetings. Our students then visited Santa Maria Cathedral with the largest Gothic nave in the world.
DAY 3 : On Wednesday 29th MArch 2023 the students visited the ancient Greek colony "Emborio" in order to learn about the
Greek presence in the Iberian Peninsula. The Spanish students, who had previously conducted research and gathered information about the ancient city, took on the task of guiding the archaeological site. Afterwards, all students visited the city of Figueres and the Dali museum with the aim of capturing and understanding the distinct and unique way of thinking and the work of Salvador Dali.
DAY 4: On Thursday March 30, 2023, in the morning a surprise awaited us organized by our Spanish teachers and student partners, which offered us knowledge and fun. The historic center of Girona had been turned into an outdoor 'escape room' where mixed groups of students (Spanish and Greek) in search of the treasure had to solve puzzles based on some historical facts about the city in order to be able to unlock the pages of a book. The search adventure lasted 2 hours, through which we got to know the important monuments and the history of the city.
At the end all participants were awarded for their effort. In the evening, our Spanish partners had organized a farewell party in a restaurant with Spanish cuisine. During our meal we exchanged hospitality gifts and mobility participation certificates were awarded.
DAY 5 : On Friday March 31, 2023, a guided tour of the city of Barcelona took place. The Greek and Spanish students with their teachers visited the emblematic buildings of the pioneering architect Antoni Gaudí (Casa Batlo, Casa Milla, Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell) and had the opportunity to study his innovative architectural proposals. Also our students were guided by their Spanish classmates in the city of Barcelona, while
they also visited the Barcelona Aquarium.
Another very beautiful educational and cultural experience for both students and
for teachers within the Erasmus+ program!
