In the final phase of the project, we created the rotation mechanism using gears to move the lifting mechanism, grasping mechanism, and payload designed in phases 3, 2, and 1, respectively.
Must be gear-driven by a third servo that rotates at least 140 degrees
Rotary table is a 0.75" thick MDF base. It consists of a 10" diameter circle with a 1/8" diameter hole in the center & two drop zone boards
We went simple, there is beauty in simplicity. When an object spins, it should be straightforward, and so we made our gear assembly as minimal as we could conceive.
