Why not having a similar mapping for DJ control instinct and DJ Control MP3e2 which have very similar hardware/buttons layout and philosophy except the integrated soundcard (and the sampler section) ?

I try to configure with preset mapping or your mapping (copy and paste) in .mixxx/controller but no way

If i mapping manually, the same controls works, no all and no leds.

I got this controller recently and worked on the mapping a bit. The JavaScript is the one by Piff with only minor modifications. The XML is done from scratch trying to reproduce the functionality as documented by Hercules as far as I could:

Hi, so maybe someone had this issue before or an idea on how to fix it. I'm trying to run a hercules dj control instinct on my windows 11 laptop. Naturally I want to use the asio drivers hercules provides, the dj hercules mix series for the dj control instinct. The installer is going through all the steps fine and finishes the installation "successfully", after that the program opens for a split second and then the window is closed. Also the little symbol for the tray agent has a red cross. In the device manager the controller is still recognised only with the microsoft drivers. I've tried installing asio4all first, connecting the controller at different times during the installation process, so far nothing helped. I'm not using any antivirus program except windows defender. I've read in some forum, that the usb port may be the issue. My laptop has only one usb port, so the only thing I could try for that is using a usb hub.

hey guys i have connected my instinct controler to work on virtual dj but the only problem i am getting is the headphones, i can only hear what is being played live and nothing from the other side that i am trying to beatmatch or cue.. only way i can here both sides is putting the crossfader in the middle or at one side or the other.. any help would be apreciated ;0)

A more "complicated" way would be to modify the mapping so that you can listen to both deck's CUE at the same time, or add a way to control the monitor mix from your computer keyboard. As my knowledge of VDJ's mapping script is quite limited, I would refer you to the expert of the VDJ forum for this.

recently purchased a control instict and everything works really well, except theres something thats stopping me from really pushing on and creating mixes ect ect. and that is that when i press the headphone button on i cant hear anything thats coming from the other turntable through the headphones..

i am using dr dre beats solo hd headphones which i know is completly not the thing to use to dj and so i thought it might be them.. i used my brothers skull candy headphones but nothing out of them either. is it a case of buying specific dj headphones? or is there something wrong with my machine?
