Feminism is not misandry. Feminism is advocacy. Feminism is fighting for what's right for both sexes. It is advocating for women's rights in a world dominated by men. It is courage, bravery, strength, and power. Feminism understands that all women are shaped differently, raised differently, and have special experiences. We support all women, from all places.
Women's rights are not just an issue for women. They involve all humans, so all humans should help. Because a women's rights issue is a human rights issue, and everyone should advocate for basic human rights. It does not matter who you are, where you are from, you are able to make an impact. Fight for your mothers, your sisters, your daughters, your aunts, your grandmas, your cousins, fight for women.
Our goal is to create a safe community for women to communicate and share. We expect every member of our community to be kind, compassionate, mature and respectful towards everyone. We DO NOT tolerate any shaming, victim blaming, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, or any sort of hatred. To build a safe space, we need the right people with the right mindset.Â
From a young age, the patriarchy has taught men that being feminine, having emotions, caring, takes away from your masculinity. It is not emasculating to be a feminist. You are not weak for caring for others or for advocating for basic human rights. Feminism fights against this common narrative and helps eliminate toxic masculinity. Remember, real men who are secure don't find that fighting for women's rights is emasulating!
