The Foundation: Education Over Aesthetics Alone

Unlike hobbyists or decorators without formal training, I am a degreed interior designer, holding a B.F.A. in Interior Design.
My education provided more than sketching and styling—it instilled a rigorous understanding of:

• Environmental Psychology: How spaces affect mood, behavior, and well-being.

• Color Theory & Science: The measurable impact of light, hue, and saturation on perception and emotion.

• Architectural Principles & Building Codes: The structural "why" behind safe, functional spaces.

• Material Science & Sustainability: How fabrics, finishes, and furnishings perform over time in our unique Houston climate.

This academic foundation is why I don’t just tell clients what looks good—I explain why it works, how it will last, and what it will do for their lives.

My Journey: From Theory to Texas Practice

After graduating, I refined my craft working with high-end residential firm and a hospitality design group, where I learned that exceptional design must balance artistry with pragmatism.
I founded Heracleopolis Heaven Heights, LLC to fill a gap I saw in the market: the need for design services grounded in professional knowledge, especially for:

1. Discerning Homeowners who deserve to understand the logic behind their investment.

2. Vacation Rental Investors who require data-driven design that maximizes appeal and durability.

Based in Houston, I am deeply familiar with the architectural styles, climate challenges, and vibrant culture of our city—all of which inform my tailored approach to every project.
