If a customer doesn’t exist in Fulcrum, users will need to navigate to the customer module underneath “Sales” - then hit “New Customer” and type in the name of your customer on the window that pops up (NOTE: this will change, soon they will be able to create a new customer directly from the new sales order/quote pop up)
Enter in address, relevant contact information, payment terms (net 30 unless otherwise stated), and any other pertinent information. Be sure to check primary billing and shipping addresses for the most important addresses, then hit ‘save.’
NOTE: This information is important since it will get tied to future Quotes and Sales Orders.
The quotes page is where you can create, edit, revise, and send quotes to your customers. You can also sort by status, or use the search bar to find a specific quote or customer. If you’re looking for a quote with a specific item, the search bar will return all quotes with that item
After a final review, the sales team member will send the quote to the customer.
