Welcome
I am a Health Economist working as a Research Scientist at Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy and an Honorary Research Fellow at UCL in the Institute of Global Health. My research focuses on the intersection of health, climate and development economics. I focus on health behaviours surrounding HIV risk for vulnerable populations, provider behaviours around antimicrobial resistance and maternal mental health in low- and middle-income countries.
My current project investigates the impact of the USAID cuts and PEPFAR reductions across 2025 is a revise-and-resubmit at The Lancet Global Health. Download here
My primary PhD explored risky sexual behaviours to cope with economic shocks in Senegal and across sub-Saharan Africa. The primary paper from my PhD won 1st prize in the IHEA Student Paper Awards for the conference in 2022.
