Hello, I’m Henna Yauger
My journey in square dancing began in 2016, when I discovered Mainstream dancing at the Country Cut-Ups in Boring, Oregon. That first night, I watched Scott Zinzer call and knew I wanted to become a caller myself. Not long after, I began learning the craft of calling and have continued to grow as both a dancer and a caller ever since.
I believe square dancing should be fun, engaging, and welcoming, with a caller who is prepared, confident, and focused on the dancers. My goal is to create an enjoyable dancing experience, keep dancers engaged on the floor, and help make every dance one to remember.
Whether calling for an established club, a special event, or dancers discovering square dancing for the first time, I welcome opportunities to share my enthusiasm for this wonderful activity and continue building connections throughout the square dance community.
