How to Settle Error Code 79 on HP Printers?

Laserjet Pro customers may see the HP service error 79 on the printer's control panel. There are two types of this mistake.

The first is Error 79. This is caused by out-of-date firmware or software drivers.

79 Service Error is the second. It happens when an incompatible DIMM is installed.

Follow the top two methods outlined below to quickly and simply resolve this issue.

Switch off your printer, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on and wait for it to initialize.
Remove the extension board if you're using one. Connect the printer to the electrical socket immediately and turn it on.
If the error warning persists. Disconnect any network or USB cords after that.
Examine your printer's firmware version and, if necessary, update it to a newer one.
NOTE: You may verify the firmware version on your printer by printing the configuration report from the control panel.
If the issue persists, you must erase all print jobs from all computers that are linked to the printer.
