At the end of the day the children are used to be asked what songs they would like to sing and they always picked this as the last song, so we use it all the time now. This works well with 2-4 year dols, but would work with other ages too.

From classic nursery rhymes to upbeat rhythms, each song is carefully crafted to promote early childhood education through playtime and entertainment. Our collection of songs not only encourages socialization but also enhances the curriculum with activities that stimulate learning, rhythm, and movement.

Clap Everybody and Say Hello/Ni Hao

Again, you can use this with any age, but when I use it with K-2 students I ask them all the languages they know how to say hello in. I like doing this because it gives them a chance to teach me something, and I can model how to be a learner. We usually sing it 2-3 times depending on the languages of the group. I also encourage different actions besides clapping, such as stomping, blinking, shaking, and other silly things like cha chaing.

Singing is a wonderful way to start the day or a class. In a school setting, we sing Spanish greeting songs to pull the group together and because singing gets everyone listening and producing the language. We also sing because singing makes kids happy and is one of the best ways for children to learn Spanish.

Typically, these songs teach common words like hola, buenos das, and cmo estas?, but they may also include more vocabulary. I sing a variety of Spanish greeting songs with my students, depending on their level and age.

This is one of my favorite Spanish greeting songs. I originally heard it sung by Cantoalegre and I like it because it makes sense at any time of day, has lots of action, teaches the verb saludar, and is fun to sing.

At Baby Squids we use a lot of songs in our swimming lessons to help children feel at ease in the water, but also to make the lessons enjoyable for both parents and children.
