レイシーの苦痛の探求

Basic Information:

Lacy's Distress Quest (or styled as レイシーの苦痛の探求) is another upcoming webseries I am planning to make after Helios' Tips has been finished. There are currently no episodes made for it, but I do plan for this one to be more akin to Jack Stauber's infamous MSpaint animations as opposed to Helios' Tips, where every character is only a still image of themselves. I am collaborating on this series with l0nly m1lk , who has been tasked with making promotional videos, reviewing epsiode scripts, Producing box art for genuine VHS releases, and, the voice actor for Lacy Carter and Amfaro, who is the voice actor for Alex Ruby.

Story/Plot:

A 15 year old girl, Lacy Carter, finds her current life as a 9th grader very boring and soulless. Thus, she falls into a bit of a depression since she feels like no one understands her and that life will only continue to be an endless cycle of attending school only to come back home to her overly peppy and upbeat family. One faithful day however, a strange creature who calls himself the "Marvelous Bugger" appears in her room to tell her that he can create another universe for her where she is loved by everyone and everything always goes her way. She agrees for it to be created and for her to be taken there completely unware that this creature is actually the corruptor, an otherworldly being who is said to lure people into their own ideal world as a means to trap them and mess with their mind in order to devour their soul for greater energy. Once she gets there, she immediately meets some of the creatures who inhabit that world and quickly befriend them all. In time, she discovers that she has been trapped there and progressively discovers the Marvelous Bugger's true identity. Now its up to her to uncover what the "Marvelous bugger's" true intentions are and to find any possible way to escape the world he has created for her. All while her family is back on Earth traveling miles hoping they will find her again.

Character Description: Lacy is a kind and helpful girl but more often just a rude and disrespectful person. Especially towards her mother. She believes that life does not have to be a constant cycle of work and stress and will not be bossed around or take any orders from anyone. Which explains her hatred towards school. She is a very independent woman, who has a strong urge to win in whatever challenge she is thrown into, as long as it doesn't hurt any of her close allies.

Character Description: The Marvelous Bugger is simply just another disguise the corrupter puts on using his shapeshifting abilites. It is meant to look like some sort of angel, thus, the human he is talking to will be less afraid from "The Marevlous Bugger's" overall harmless and safe appearence.

Character Description: Alex Ruby is an inhabitant of Neo Angel Oak who Lacy quickly develops a crush for when first encountering him. Altough he does not have any romantic feelings towards Lacy back, he still sees her as a wonderful friend and joins her on her journey to uncover The Marvelous Bugger's true identity, Overthrow him, and return home.

Character Description:

Amelia Jade is a fun loving and optomistic young girl and the first inhabintant of Neo Angel Oak who Lacy encounters when stepping through "The Marvelous Bugger's" portal. After the two start having a lovely conversation, Amelia eventually befriends Lacy and later joins her in her quest to unmask The Marvelous Bugger's true identity, Put an end to his unlawful ruling of Neo Angel Oak, and return back home.
