PRONA
PRONA (Montenegrin Science Promotion Foundation) is a Montenegrin NGO founded in 2004, dedicated to promoting science and strengthening research culture in Montenegro. PRONA supports science communication, young scientific talent, international exchange, and the organization of public and professional events connecting research with society.
From Fall 2021 to Summer 2023, I served as an assistant, supporting the Winter Schools of Science (2022, 2023) and the Summer School of Science (2022).
CERN
CERN Summer Student Programme is a summer internship for bachelor’s and master’s students in physics, mathematics, engineering, and computing, offering the chance to contribute to ongoing research and technical projects at CERN in Geneva. Alongside project work with a host team, participants attend a dedicated lecture programme, visits to CERN facilities, workshops and discussion sessions. At the end of the stay, students give a presentation and submit a report on their work.
I took part in the programme in 2023, where I worked on the BLonD (Beam Longitudinal Dynamics) code.
OAMN
The Operator Algebras Mentor Network (OAMN) is committed to fostering gender diversity within mathematics, particularly in the field of operator algebras. Established in response to the need for mentorship and support for underrepresented individuals facing abuse or harassment, OAMN operates on a three-tier structure—senior mentors, junior mentors, and mentees. The organization promotes inclusivity, using the term “underrepresented or in minority within mathematics due to gender” as an umbrella phrase to encompass various gender identities.
I have been a mentee since 2025.
