I have chosen to use Canvas. I have used Canvas before as a teacher taking training and liked its features. During my research, I found that it offers what I think I will need to prepare my course content. It has the discussion posting as a feature already in the program, which is perfect. I am only nervous about the sizes of the files I can upload. I am not super savvy on file sizes but I'm learning.
What I hope to offer for my learners is video lectures, examples, links to resources, digital informational documents, and discussion posting. The goal is to get teachers prepared to start small group learning that isn't overwhelming to teachers but rather compliments their classrooms.
For this week's assignment, I have created an assessment in Canvas. Creating the assessment proved to be more challenging than originally planned. One of the larger aspects I had in my mind for this assessment was a drag-and-drop activity but Canvas doesn't seem to support that activity so I moved it from an assessment to an assignment.
To access this assignment you will need to log in to Canvas by clicking here and using my credentials. Use heidireeves123@gmail.com Pumpkin247! For this week's assignment, I have chosen to use the assignment and discussion posting features in Canvas. I have used Padlet before when I was teaching hybrid and wanted to try something different. Canvas is not as easy to use as originally planned but I am making progress in learning many of the features.

For this assignment, I ended up using Canva for my rubric. This was not the first draft of this rubric. First, I used iRubric and filled it all in. I'm not sure but I think the embed function on iRubric is a paid feature. I moved all my criteria over to Canva as I have a paid version of that program.
I also decided to use two different versions of a rubric. I have not used the checkmark one before and I found that to be much faster to create.
For this week, I have chosen to work on my Module 2 content for my presentation. Module 2 is going to be where you can find the most important content.
Creating the videos is becoming more routine and and I am gaining confidence as well as speed. It is easier now to type out my script, get the video recorded with less takes and I am able to accurately and quickly transcribe my videos.
For this walkthrough video, I again used Loom for my recording and then uploaded it to my YouTube channel. I find this the easiest way for all of my classmates to be able to find and view my content.
I chose to use OSCQR Course Review Rubric, as I found that one to be general and thorough enough to evaluate my work. To get into my Canvas and review my course, you will use the following username and password.

Here is my final reflection for the Learning Design and Technology Mircomasters Program. Overall it has been a good learning experience for me. Getting to be able to start using authoring tools and create content has been an invaluable part of the last year for me.
Thinking about my experience, I am confident that I will continue to grow. Creating content is something I am passionate about, and with more practice, I will improve my skills. Completing challenging assignments multiple times made them easier to handle. Through this class, I have gained extensive knowledge and am enthusiastic about continuing my learning path.
As I move forward, I plan to continue improving my craft and expanding my knowledge in different areas. I also want to explore new forms of content creation and experiment with different authoring tools. With the right training and guidance, I think I will make an excellent instructional designer. Collaborating with other professionals will also be a priority as I believe that working with others is an effective way to learn and grow. I am grateful for the knowledge and experience I have gained so far and I am eager to see what the future holds as I continue to pursue my passion.
