I am a PhD student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Currently, I work with my lab members in the HRI Lab, which is led by Prof. Ki-Uk Kyung.
My research aims to develop wearable haptic devices that can generate multi-modal tactile feedback, enabling haptic rendering of physical interaction with more realism. Regarding this goal, I have explored the potential of incorporating soft materials to design a novel tactile actuator with increased actuation modalities, along with enhanced wearability. I am also interested in building haptic interface for human-computer or -robot interaction.
