Even tho Sonic Develop and Hedgehog Platformer are similar extensions, Hedgehog Platformer was made based on Sonic Develop, but with the objective of being more performant in physics quality and usage.
Their usage is the same, but Hedgehog Platformer has been made easier and performant in most aspects, there are also some properties and functions from Sonic Develop that aren't in Hedgehog Platformer in order to not saturate the extension with functions that wouldn't be that useful.
But at the same time, we know that Hedgehog Platformer has some useful functions that Sonic Develop does not have, therefore we can consider Hedgehog Platformer as a v2.0/Remake of Sonic Develop
Sonic Develop is currently not compatible with Hedgehog Platformer but it may be in a future.
