The following photos were taken

at the 4th annual Scottish Traditions Festival,

held in Gould, August 11 - 13 of 2000.

The McVett-McKerry Bridge over the Salmon River

provided a pleasant setting for this family event.

Scottish music and dancing, whiskey tasting,

workshops on local history, poetry reading, food stands,

and then a tour of the old Scottish villages.

of the local Scottish poet Oscar Dhu

Wading in the cool water of the Salmon River

provided welcome relief from the August heat

for the Festival's attendees.
