Read this article which honors the lives of Allison Knowles and Takako Saito, two artists from the Fluxus golden age. Write enough to show that you read the article and can bring words to class to discuss. Do additional research outside the article to familiarize yourself more-so with the artists. 

• Allison Knowles and Takako Saito's work seems very playful with the paper boat and the sent chess pieces. It makes sense that their background and overall body of work, that doesn't fit in traditional art spaces, would create the environment that birthed the Fluxus movement. It is cool that Allison went to Pratt in Brooklyn for printmaking and painting. My sister goes there right now.

I brought carrots, cucumbers, lettuces, some red onions, and a sliced tomato.

The salads that were created in class were yummy.
