We have various categories for Texas high school students, Texas college and university students, and independent filmmakers from Texas and beyond

You can check all of the categories on this web sites categories page or on the FilmFreeway festival page, including all of the terms and rules.

Films should be under 8 minutes for student productions and under 15 for independent filmmakers. All films should maintain a PG-13 or lower rating (refrain from obscene or vulgar language or content).

See complete list here.

All students (Sam Houston State University students, Texas high school students, and Texas university/college students) submissions are free, but for Texas independent film makers and other outside filmmakers outside of Texas, there is a $20 submission fee.
