This is my fourth time at Sheridan College. Why fourth time you ask? I never quite found what I was "meant to do." I have to say that now, I am confident in my choice of career path. I have gained so much knowledge and so many skills to support a wide range of students with various degrees of exceptionalities. I have learned to develop strategies as well as how to create an inclusive environment for each and every student. This program afforded me the opportunity to learn theory and apply it through hands-on practice. Throughout my time in this program, I was able to cultivate skills to be able to support students with all exceptionalities, effectively. This program has changed my life, and I will forever be grateful to the professors who have readied me for the career that I will retire from. I was hired by a local school board prior to graduating. Sheridan College really prepares and readies you for your career. I am now where I was meant to be.
