Nano infusion, also called nano needling or nano microneedling, is one of my favorite ways to boost glow, hydration, and product absorption. Instead of needles, nano cartridges use tiny silicone or rubber pyramid tips, usually round or square tipped, to gently press skincare into the very top layer of the skin (epidermis). It does NOT create the deeper controlled injury that traditional microneedling does, which is why it is such a great place to start if you are new to at home treatments.
Nano infusion helps your skin absorb serums more effectively and gives the prettiest hydrated, glass skin glow. I love using it with my skin flooding routine because it helps push all of those hydrating toners and serums into the outer layer of my skin. You can absolutely use your favorite hydrating serum. You do NOT have to use specific nano infusion products.
The main thing you need is a Dr. Pen M8S and a round or square nano cartridge.
I personally do not use strong actives during nano infusion. I save tretinoin, exfoliating acids, and stronger actives for after my nano infusion or the next day. I do use my tretinoin after nano infusion, just not during the treatment itself. The best products for nano infusion are hydrating, calming, and barrier supporting serums. Most people have little to no downtime, and everything is usually completely normal the next day, so you can go right back to your normal skincare routine.

Skin flooding, also called the seven skin method, is layering hydrating toners onto the skin before your serums and moisturizer. You can use the same toner multiple times or layer different hydrating toners together.
I love doing skin flooding before a nano infusion because it helps push all of that hydration into the very top layer of the skin for extra glow and hydration.
Personally, skin flooding has changed my skin more than almost anything I have ever tried. I do it morning and night after I cleanse my skin.
You always want to layer your products from thinnest to thickest consistency.
Watery toners go on first. Then thicker hydrating toners and essences. Milky toners, richer hydrating layers, or anything with oils usually go last before your serum or moisturizer.
You do NOT need to use the exact toners I use. The goal is finding hydrating products that fit your skin type and skin goals.
I keep all of my favorite skin flooding toners linked in my Amazon storefront.
