The Dr. Pen M8S is the microneedling device. The disposable cartridges attach to the end of the pen, and they contain the needles that enter the skin.
The number on the cartridge tells you how many needles (pins) it contains. A 36 pin cartridge has more needles and typically feels gentler because the pressure is spread across more points. A 12 pin cartridge has fewer needles and can feel more intense.
I recommend starting with a 36 pin cartridge and working your way down to a 12 pin cartridge. Always use a new cartridge for every treatment.
For nano infusion between deeper microneedling sessions. It does not contain needles and works only on the surface of the skin.
A great beginner option for the face or body. This is a good place to start and may feel more comfortable if you prefer not to use numbing cream.
This is the cartridge I prefer for deeper microneedling on my face. I personally use numbing cream with the 12 pin. Once you are comfortable using the 36 pin, you may choose to try the 12 pin.
