I am a designer, a planner and a solutions thinker.

I grew up in northern BC exploring the lakes and mountains in the central interior. I am still exploring what BC has to offer through my passion for backcountry skiing and a year-round city cycling!

I am an Assistant Professor at the College of New Caledonia, Prince George BC, in the Web & Graphic Design Program. I teach courses on digital art & new media, design thinking, rapid prototyping, business skills for creatives, applied skills and internship, and design history.

I have a Masters degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies from the University of Northern British Columbia. My thesis examined ways cycle commuting could be leveraged in northern communities as a sustainable solution you reduce carbon emissions.

My education and prior freelance career in Industrial Design has recently led me to learn ceramics. This practice allows me to work and think with my hands and has been a key component in my efforts to balance out design for the digital realm and design for the physical realm.
