I'm interested in modeling population demographics and abundance, especially in the context of climate change. I'm currently developing a modeling framework for tracking Chronic Wasting Disease in deer populations, but I've previously worked with grass, small mammals, tortoises, and songbird abundance!
I love finding ways to make programming and statistics more accessible to ecologists and wildlife biologists. I've previously developed a "Shiny Apps" for Simple Probability Distributions, Southern Pine Beetle Outbreaks, and (most recently), Chronic Wasting Disease. I also enjoy making tutorials and co-teaching a class about topics related to Bayesian coding and my research.
I co-own a statistical consulting company called H&H Ecological Analysts. We are happy to help with any data analysis issues you might have - everything from t-tests and GLMS to coding Bayesian models and creating your own Microsoft Access Database for your project. Check us out!
