Our founder, Lisa Clark started working at The Hardwood Store in 1996 with some woodworking knowledge. The store was selling various books that interested her. In 2000 she brought her first scroll saw and met Rick Landess at Woodcraft. He told her about S.A.W.   Scrollsaw Association of the World. Thru S.A.W. she met Nancy Vincent and talked to her about starting a club. Lisa took her scrollsaw to Artistry in Wood and stood there sawing. That's when she met Toby Tyler and Joe Richey . Nancy Shoopman visited  Artistry in Wood that year and was intrested in learning to saw. Lisa then organized a club. "The Heart of Ohio Scrollers". There are currently three original members still in the club.
