About Us
Our club members vary in age, experience, and interests. We meet to share our love of scroll sawing. We share the way we do things and discuss problems with sawing that others may have also. We encourage everyone to bring a project to the meetings to show others. This has been an excellent way to learn new things and encourage those who are less experienced. We also try to have a demonstration at each club meeting, on the second Saturday of each month. We have Open Saw at The Hardwood Store in Enon, OH. We gather from 10 am until noon.
Two scroll saws are available and members and guests are invited to bring a project to cut. Are you having problems with a project? Need to practice cutting inside corners? Want some advice or help with a project? Have a new saw and want to practice or see what a scroll saw can do? Bring your questions to Open Saw.
In June we have a summer picnic. We also have a meal at Christmas and a gift exchange.
Each year we have rented space at the Apple Butter Festival in Enon, OH. and set up a booth where members can sell items they have made. We have also participated in community service projects, such as cutting puzzles for the Children's Hospital in Dayton and Christmas ornaments for the military
