According to Figure 2 from The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)/European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies (2023), “30.5% of deaths recorded in 2020 was related to Circulatory system, 8.6% of the 30.5% was related to ischemic heart diseases, and 7.7% related to stroke” (p. 5).
