All my life I have hated exercising. After my hip replacement, I did physical therapy, but they only work with you for a limited time. Without that scheduled appointment, I stopped doing my exercises and lost progress. I thought about going back to physical therapy, but instead started working with Victoria virtually. After surgery, I was nervous about falling and not being able to get up. Based on my history and goals, Victoria works with me to strengthen the muscles I need to get up from the chair, and we just reached my first big goal which is being able to sit and stand up from my front stoop. I’ve been working with Vicki for about 8 months and I am thrilled with the results. I am a 75 year old male who has been plagued by ankle issues (PTTD) for many years. My name is Lea and I am 68 years old and live in Chattanooga, TN. I was introduced to Victoria by my niece when my sister and I were visiting Long Island in the summer of 2023. I started working with Victoria in February of 2024 and she has changed my life physically, emotionally and in every positive way possible and now I cannot imagine my time without her in my life.
In 1984, I was hit by a drunk driver on the day after Christmas while I was bending over getting gifts out of the trunk of my car, hitting me and squashing me into my car. I had crushed femurs, severed an artery in my left leg which I was told I would lose, also possibly the right, and banged up arms from falling onto the asphalt. I was in a wheelchair for weeks before learning to walk again with massive braces on my legs. Since that day, thankfully, I did not lose my legs but I’ve had 2 knee replacements, 2 hip replacements, foot surgery and multiple surgeries along the way not to mention arthritis in my neck, back and arms. Victoria is having me wake up muscles and joints in my body that I have not used since before my accident. I am moving my hips and legs in ways that I thought was impossible to do. I trust her completely on what she teaches and how she gets me to move. My balance has improved dramatically and I’m feeling better and eating so much better than I was. My blood pressure and cholesterol are both lower than they have been in several years. I would recommend Victoria for anyone who wants to better their quality of life through exercise and pushing yourself to see how far you can go. She is so patient and very encouraging but also very challenging in such a good way that you want to do more. She is extremely knowledgeable on the body and how everything works and how to use certain parts of your body to help with other parts and movements. I look forward to my sessions with Victoria each time. She is life changing and I’m so grateful I can do this for myself. Victoria is truly amazing!
