Words of wisdom

Chris' health recovery words of wisdom

What I’ve Learnt During Recovery:

– Healing takes time, Healing is not linear.

– There’s no magic pill.

Patience and Acceptance is crucial.

_ Limit Anger at all cost (to yourself and others).

– Sacrifice is essential

Hard work, motivation & determination is the only way.

_ Make peace, be kind and be gentle with every moment of the day, (even when things aren't going your way).

- Try and rejoice with everything that life throws at you. (This includes loss)

_ You need to become your own doctor or own Healer.

Boundaries are necessary.

Not everyone will get CFS /ME. Thats okay.

There will be judgements, cruelty & tears.

You will lose friends along the way, but gain new ones.

_ Forgive yourself and don't look back at the mistakes you made before you got ill with CFS/M.E and the mistakes you made during your CFS/M.E healing recovery journey.  LEARN FROM MISTAKES AND MOVE FORWARD!!

_ Forgive others for their mistakes, and if they are too big don't be too concern because Karma will get them back!!

– You may feel isolated.

There is a world of people out there just like you.

Everyone's healing journey is unique.

What you require to recover will continuously change.

Limiting beliefs will hold you back.

Positivity keeps you going.

There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Recovery is possible.

You will find true alignment with yourself along the way .

– You will find more meaning in life than you ever could have imagined

Understand the two minds: The conscious/unconscious mind.

– The mind is very powerful + can be your best friend or worst enemy.

_ Journaling is a great tool of being conscious of what you are doing daily.

_ meditation helps you to learn to become an observer of your thoughts and helps you become best mates with yourself.

-If you stay positive in a negative situation, you win!

- Count every small win 🏆 🏅

– You will have to do all the hard work yourself. If you are to heal/recover, nothing will do it for you!

And last…

If it is to be, it’s up to me!
