I have been in practice for a decade and have thousands of clinical hours in therapy training. I am a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Minnesota. I hold both a Master's degree (2011) and PhD (2020) from the University of Minnesota. I was trained in the APA-accredited Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology program. My education and practice has focused on therapeutic counseling, multicultural humility and proficiency, and clinical supervision.
In addition to practicing in forensic settings, I have extensive experience within college counseling and academic settings. I spent many years as a graduate fellow practicing in Minneapolis and St. Paul with Student Counseling Services at the University of Minnesota. I also completed a full-time, APA-accredited predoctoral residency with Student Counseling Services from 2019-2020. I also have specialty training in sexual health and gender having completed a post-doctoral residency under the supervision of psychologist and certified sex therapist, Tera Jansen, PsyD, LP, CST.
I am an adjunct faculty member with St. Mary's University in Minneapolis. I do love to teach and train others in counseling practices. My education also included clinical supervision which I've provided individually and in group settings to master's level and doctoral level psychology trainees.
