Stress Limits:

• In the entire structure, the most stressed element was the key with the maximum stress of up to 23MPa and the rest are having stress values within 0.5MPa.

Criteria for material selection:

• Strength(Primary criteria).

• Weight and availability(second criteria).

• Cost(tertiary criteria).

Mild steel and PVC rigid (pipe and rod) are the most appropriate materials for this application fulfilling the above criterion.
